“C est un refuge qui a quelques hébergements”

The chef was super helpful and prepares delicious meals; he studied culinary school in Italy. The “basic” rooms overlook the kitchen! The person who showed us the bears from afar and the trees to replant gave us plenty of interesting explanations. The reception is handled by phone because no one spoke English except the chef. Dinner service ends at 18:00, and the price is exorbitant if you want to book a ranger outing. The pool was closed even though it was over 30 °C.

The nature, facilities, and especially the staff were great, but the path outside is very poor and hard to find.

The only highlight was the chance to see rescued animals, and the spot itself is gorgeous, tucked among the mountains.

“A beautiful place in nature to relax. It's worth to stay several days to enjoy”

I loved the remoteness and uniqueness of this place - it's super calm and really lets you connect with Armenia's wild nature. An old lady comes by daily to cook, which was a nice touch. That said, arriving late at night was a bit of a hassle since the barrier was closed and we had no phone signal, so we had to trek up to find someone to let us in. Overall, it's a great spot to unwind, but the access system could use some work.

The location is really something, but I was surprised that there was no staff around during my stay. That made things a bit tricky.
