The staff were very helpful, especially the reception girls who were super friendly and kind. When we arrived the bathroom was dirty, and for the two days we stayed the second day there was no cleaning at all, neither in the bathroom nor in the room. In our room there was clothing left in the previous guest’s dresser, visible at a glance, showing that they hadn’t inspected or cleaned properly.

Excellent place if you’re in Antigua.

I stayed here while looking for a language school. The Japanese owner offered support in many areas and gave precise advice for travel plans around Lake Atitlán. The room had an outstandingly comfortable bed, a long desk, storage, a luggage rack, and all furniture was large enough and very handy. There was also a mirror. Wi‑Fi was stable. The shared bathroom for two rooms stayed clean throughout. The kitchen and common areas were cozy, and the owner’s meticulous care was felt throughout the property. Every staff member was skilled and courteous.

What I liked most was the cleanliness of the rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and the friendliness of the reception girls, plus their willingness to keep my belongings in a little storage after checkout. The terrace is very nice and, when clear, you can see the volcano. Unfortunately, the rooms assigned to me were poorly located. First, I was given a room literally next to the basketball court, so the outside noise was constant. Then I was moved to a room next to the kitchen, whose only window faced it directly, causing poor ventilation and a lingering food odor whenever cooking. One night, people used the kitchen late into the evening, talking loudly, which seriously disrupted my peace and rest. It’s important to set clear rules about kitchen hours and allowed preparations, especially since three rooms are adjacent to this space and two lack adequate ventilation. While the place shines in cleanliness and pleasant facilities, its layout is a drawback, particularly the proximity of rooms to the kitchen and sports court. Finally, outside the lodging, near the court entrance, there were stray dogs, one of which nearly bit me, so that entrance needs extra caution.
