A good place to stay – close to Heviz center (about a 12‑minute walk to the center, 18 minutes to the pool entrance). The room has a large, comfortable bed with clean linens, nightstands, a table with chairs, a wardrobe, and curtains on the windows. There’s a balcony with a hair dryer and garden furniture, plus a small shower bathroom. Unfortunately, the bathroom lacked hand soap and only had two towels. As described, there’s no air‑conditioning, which was very inconvenient during the heat; luckily the owner provided a fan. The kitchenette is fully equipped with pots, dishes, a stove, a fridge, and a large table with chairs. One kitchenette serves four rooms, which can be a bit troublesome when everyone wants to use it at the same time. It’s located in the hallway, so you need to remember to lock the door, otherwise people wandering around the kitchen will peek into your room. The host is very friendly, kind, and helpful. He suggested we try the local swimming noodles, which are essential in Hévíz (the thermal lake depth ranges from 2 to 38 m). The rooms were clean, and there are shops and restaurants nearby. The only downside is the lack of air‑conditioning.
