The charm hit me immediately and the staff were warm and sincere; cleanliness and presentation were flawless, the food was spot‑on with fresh produce and well cooked dishes, manager Carl was helpful and welcoming and did everything he could to make me feel at home, and his team were genuine and friendly – I loved my stay and could not fault the place.

General manager and staff were excellent, the room size was fine for a short stay, and the evening menu was a good choice, but 10 am check‑out felt a bit early; 11 am would have been better.

A beautiful old historical building full of charm and character, the gorgeous 14th Century old malt house in the heart of Tintagel offered a comfortable, quiet, and clean room, delicious food, a very relaxing atmosphere, great service, lovely friendly staff who welcomed us like family, and were extremely dog friendly, treating our little dog Ruby with open arms and hearts; I couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Nothing really I suppose a slightly nicer view from our back bedroom window would have topped it off but it didn’t really matter.

I stayed at this quirky 14th‑century property and the decor was lovely and impeccably clean; the food was outstanding and the staff were equally impressive. Nothing else to mention.
