“Foi tudo maravilhoso!”

We were warmly welcomed, the coffee was outstanding and the rooms spotless, the view spectacular, and the overall atmosphere comfortable and peaceful. The only hitch was that getting there was a little tricky because some sections of the road in Monte Verde are still dirt paths.

The suite was superb—spacious, with a huge bed, high‑quality linens and towels, and a massive bathtub filled with piping‑hot water; the thermal sheet and the friendliness of Angélica and Taci were real pluses, and breakfast was served on schedule with everything made fresh, including scrambled eggs and freshly baked cheese rolls. However, there was no parking, forcing us to squeeze the car onto a narrow, hard‑to‑maneuver ramp; the property sits on very uneven ground, and reaching our chalet required navigating a steep, stone‑laden stairway with no railings, making luggage handling a nightmare. Also, breakfast was only available from 9 am to 11 am, which is inconvenient for early‑morning excursions and could be started earlier.

Angélica at the front desk was very attentive and welcoming, and Elton was also extremely helpful, though the location left something to be desired.

“Péssima Experiência no booking e no estabelecimento.”

The inn never warned us that it was under construction; we arrived in the city at 22:00 and found the place closed and being renovated, with no one on site to answer. No assistance was offered by the booking service, so we had to book a far more expensive alternative that lacked the amenities we wanted. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with the booking platform.

A good spot close to everything, clean, run by friendly owners, and well‑located—overall a great place.
