The place is near town and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the lake, the staff were clean and friendly and there’s a 24‑hour laundry to use; parking is in front of the room and the park for kids has fun facilities. It’s a great location for Milford Sound, but the room is small, has no sink, and feels a little outdated.

I stayed close to town, the room was comfortable and had everything we needed, but I could hear the people next door talking.
