The location is great, just a 10‑minute walk to the waterfront, but the room was ordinary, the furniture was old, and the breakfast honestly didn’t impress.

It’s close to shops, restaurants, the Bund, and Nanjing Road, and they surprised my mom with a cake on her birthday, yet the hotel’s grandeur hid the fact that the rooms were old and smoky, the hallway was always smoky, and my daughter’s asthma flared.

Good central location near the metro, but the breakfast could have had more fruit or a larger tea selection (there was only black tea).
