“War sehr schön! Gerne wieder!”
The food was really good, especially the breakfast; the décor featured a lot of wood, which I absolutely love, and the beds were very comfortable.

The service was great, the location was fine, and the building is a traditional one with a modern touch. The entrance road is hard to find.

The staff were super friendly and attentive, the location is great, the Saalbach card is included and offers nice perks, the new part of the hotel looks very cozy, and the breakfast was fairly extensive – a few more vegan options would be nice :) The bartender is fantastic and makes everything possible! In the wellness area, the pools are very small, the outdoor pool isn’t warm enough to escape to when it’s cold, and there are only 8 loungers inside the pool. That’s far too little, especially on bad weather days; the hotel wasn’t fully booked when we were there, yet there was a lot of discontent on the rainy day because there’s no alternative to stay in the bath/wellness area. There’s only a small relaxation room with four loungers to go to after the sauna, but it’s not really lovingly furnished. The garden is huge and would offer many possibilities to change or relocate/expand the wellness area! The food: the meat dishes looked great and were probably very good, but the vegetarian and fish dishes were barely put together. There were two servings of dry salad, one with tofu and one with Camembert. The marinated arugula that was supposed to be there one day lay lifeless and dry on the fish. In terms of price, you can’t compare such a dish with the meat dish, aside from presentation. There was also a lack of creativity and Austrian influence in the dishes. Dessert isn’t served but offered as a buffet. The dessert “buffet” consists of only one dessert. That’s different from other Vayas. There is no lounge area. The bar has only two high tables, but nothing that invites a cozy lounge or card games in the evening. We had a room in the main house, so in the original part of the hotel. The basic rooms were renovated and adapted to the Vaya style, but the corridors look more like an old, dusty 70s hotel. The Vaya charm was unfortunately not felt here.

Breakfast is wonderful. The staff are pleasant. The location is great. The atmosphere is super. The outdoor pool and mountain view. The modern room. There is little space in the spa.
