Good spot, quiet, and served by several tram lines. The owner is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is basic. It could have been a bit cleaner for the price.

Artistic, calm, breakfast. The QR code for parking is outdated. Why isn’t there a parking lot at the accommodation?

The location, cleanliness, quietness, and public transport availability were all great.

The highlight was the ability to bring a bicycle, the close proximity to public transport, the quiet surroundings, and the spacious room. Immediately upon arrival, two things greeted me at the entrance: a smiling older houseman and a strong fecal odor. I assumed it would be a one‑off, but the unpleasant smell lingered even on subsequent days. Another drawback was that I had booked a room with two separate beds, yet I ended up with a single bed that was sold at a lower price. When I first complained, the older houseman cited Booking’s pricing policy, which he couldn’t change, and I reluctantly accepted it. After a brief check, I discovered I had paid for a double room, so that explanation didn’t satisfy me. In a second complaint, the houseman, a bit agitated, reluctantly allowed me to move to the room I had paid for. Breakfast was also a downside: the houseman would bring it to your table with a smile, but every day it was the same (six slices of ham, two sliced cherry tomatoes, three rolls, two butter packs, and one jam). Most of us expect something more varied; the only pleasant thing was a strong hot tea. Finally, hygiene and tidiness were lacking: the room and especially the bathroom had long hair, a significant layer of dust, and remnants from previous guests in the drawers and cabinets, like Regiojet tickets from 26.7.2026 or a Czech band’s sheet music (though that was better). Cleaning seemed weak overall. The last issue was that, even though I didn’t want to, I could hear neighbors, housemates, and other guests through the thin walls, so privacy was missing. In short, “Brno – Židenice, never again,” despite the multiple certificates of a verified company hanging on the hallway wall, which add a touch of prestige but don’t reflect reality.
