“Schönes Hotel zum Ausspannen und Wohlfühlen.”
A very nicely situated, not too large hotel just outside the gates of Weimar among vineyards. The beds were spot on, neither too firm nor too soft. Breakfast offered no compromises, a wide selection and something for every taste – even sparkling wine! Every day you get a 5€ voucher if you skip room cleaning – smart. The little hotel garden is well laid out and especially at night with fairy lights feels quite romantic. The 8€ parking fee when there’s literally no alternative is a bit unpleasant. The in‑room sauna was very small (one seat plus a small lying spot) and only heated to just under 70 °C, which for us was fine. The radiators urgently need bleeding because they work poorly and make a strong “blubbering” noise when turned up.
