The place is unbeatable for a stay. The room was charming, spotless, and uncluttered. We were lulled by frogs at night and woke to birds in the morning—a lovely moment. The terrace offered an incredible view, with fresh air sometimes mingling with incense spices in the evening. The garden was lush with many animals. Our host was caring and always honest, even helping us avoid a pharmacy scam in Ella. The hotel is just a few minutes up the hills from the city center by tuk‑tuk, which is fine. The manager will take you wherever you want and won’t scam you; he knows the area well and speaks excellent English. Shower water was always hot. The Sri‑Lankan breakfast was perfect. This little paradise rivals any 5‑star hotel in the country, more authentic and scam‑free. I wish I could have stayed longer. Thanks for everything; we had an unforgettable trip.

The terrace view is stunning, and the breakfast is excellent. The host is very kind. The hotel sits on a hill and can only be reached by road or tuk‑tuk, but the hotel offered free shuttles whenever we needed them. The Wi‑Fi is unreliable.

The view was fantastic—truly a dream. The room and bathroom were good, clean, and tidy. Breakfast was great and even better with the view. The owner was friendly and attentive, and he took me to Ella for a “reasonable” tuk‑tuk price and picked me up again. Warm water was somehow missing. Tuk‑tuk prices in Ella are generally very high.

Stunning view and a very nice host. He gave us great tips for exploring and even drove us around in a tuk‑tuk for a small fee. We would come back anytime!!!
