The bed was fine. The hotel buildings are not all maintained; they surround a large square with a worn lawn that is unappealing. The bathroom is very poorly built. There is no Wi‑Fi. There is no way to find even a water bottle at the reception, where there is almost never anyone.

Some little tips for you going to the island. 1. Don’t trust the people at the jetty (in Parapat) before taking the ferry to Samosir, they are scammers!! Pay the ferry only at the guy on the boat (15k‑25k idr, not 50k like the scammers charged us!). 2. Be careful also trying to change money at the ferry in Parapat (also scammers) and don’t trust any taxi driver who says can bring you to change money or whatever. EVERYTHING WAS A SCAM AT THE PARAPAT JETTY. The guys at the reception and the location were amazing 👍🏼

It’s a nice big open space to relax outside with a great view. Inside the room I had many problems: there were constantly mosquitoes buzzing around no matter how many I killed, the shower dripped 24/7 so my bathroom floor was constantly wet, and there were somehow ants all over the toilet which would bite me when using.
