Located on Paihia's waterfront, the Anchorage Motel offers stunning sea views across the bay from its fully self-contained units. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, tropical gardens, a Hot Tub, heated swimming pool, and barbecue area. Ample parking, including boat parking, is available. The motel is within a 5-minute walk to the harbour, shops, and restaurants. The front desk assists with fishing trips, day trips, and boat cruises in the Bay of Islands.

The hotel is close to town, but the upstairs neighbors were very nosy and could hear us walking, the toilet flushing, and the shower running.

There was no room deodorizer available.

The facilities and room layouts were great, but the room was noisy; we were on the lowest floor and the people above were very loud the first morning, though that isn’t the motel’s fault. I’d ask for an upstairs room next time.
