The location is outstanding, in South Beach but on the quieter part of Ocean Drive; the room was comfortable, clean (daily housekeeping), and sound‑proof. The staff were attentive. Breakfasts are generous, high quality, and priced specially for guests. Good hotel. The beach chairs need to be replaced, and the pillows are a bit uncomfortable.

The spot is perfect, just 100 meters from the shore on Ocean Drive, and Avalon is a must‑visit. The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Daniel, Julio, Manny, Dario, and Rosario. The Corner King Bed Room was fantastic, convenient, and offered a view over the beach promenade. My wife and I will remember this forever, whether it’s a one‑night or a week’s stay. The breakfast is delicious and served on the terrace outside, and they even give you towels and folding chairs for the beach. Go for it!

The place is great, right across from the beach and on the art deco strip, and the outdoor terrace is nice for food and drinks. At night it gets noisy—probably plumbing or something, but the walls let sound through. The bathtub looked a bit old and chipped, which made it off‑putting to use.
