The hotel did what we needed: beds to sleep and showers. We weren’t staying in the room all day because we were at a convention, so we only wanted it clean. The pillows were worn, and there were no extra blankets or towels. We found a roach in our closet, and the staff denied it was a roach; management also denied it was a problem. The roach was in the corner of our closet. It’s an old facility in that neighborhood, so roaches are definitely a possibility.
