The apartment was comfortable and we appreciated being able to use the pool at the neighboring hotel, plus the host replied quickly to any questions. We weren’t warned ahead of time that the area gets pretty noisy at night – several loud bars are right next door. The front garden also needs some upkeep; it’s overgrown with weeds, making it hard to enjoy sitting outside.

The place was spotless and the kitchen was set up nicely for whipping up quick meals. The owners greeted us warmly and were eager to help. All in all, a tidy, welcoming stay.

We loved the spot, tucked away from the water’s edge, and our upstairs unit gave us a beautiful sunrise view through the trees. The front area was perfect for relaxing, complete with a fridge and sink, while the bedroom at the back stayed quiet. It felt like a little oasis.

The constant racket from the bar next door made it hard to relax, and the incessant barking of stray dogs added to the noise. It would help if Belize addressed the overpopulation of dogs and cats through spaying programs. Overall, the noise level was a big downside.

Mandy and Kevin were super helpful, and the location was spot on with plenty of good restaurants and bars within walking distance. The room was clean and well equipped, making our stay comfortable. We couldn’t find any faults.
