Located by Exo Gialos Beach, Porto Castello is a family-run Santorini hotel 2 km from Fira's centre, offering an outdoor pool with furnished sun-bathing terrace and pool bar. The hotel features air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV, telephone, fridge, and private bathroom, built in traditional Cycladic architecture. A beach restaurant and pool bar serve snacks and drinks.

Family-friendly, clean, comfortable, and good value. They have a minibus and run several free tours to the island’s top sights daily. The pool is open and the beach is a 1‑minute walk away. There’s no restaurant, but they offer take‑out food with good value. If you want to rent a car or motorcycle, they help arrange it with a reliable small company at good prices. Highly recommended.

The location is quiet, near the beach and the small harbor. The room’s cleanliness was only adequate. Unfortunately our room wasn’t well ventilated and there was a closed‑off smell.

Nice property close to the Fira Center. They offer a mini‑van pick‑up to and from the Fira Center every three hours. The swimming pool is great for relaxing and chilling, and a beach is just a few minutes’ walk away. The owners are friendly and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially the lady who spoke French. The American breakfast (10 €) was very complete and filling. The pool was a plus, though the surroundings and seating were a bit dirty. The rooms lacked soundproofing, there were frequent power outages, and the toilet kept running continuously. Being too far from the city or at least a convenience store without a shuttle with fixed times forced us to rent a car for freedom of movement.
