I slept well on the beds, and the water was hot and spotlessly clean. But there was construction right outside my window, and the hotel was actually on a different street than Via Margutta, which it claimed to be on. The building across the narrow street is under construction, so traffic and noise made it a terrible place to stay. I wouldn’t have booked if I’d known the true location and the ongoing construction.

There was no breakfast at the location. The mattresses were rock‑hard and took up most of the small room. Cleaning was excellent, and the staff were helpful and friendly. One step at the reception was unmarked, causing me to sprain my foot after a fall. My first holiday day ended up spent in the hospital, and the rest of the vacation was ruined, hopping around with a cane.
