The spot’s close to the train station, but I had no idea it was an Airbnb, not a hotel, so I was shocked to find no staff to help. The shower’s drain was faulty and the water backed up fast, which was nasty and unhygienic. Cleanliness overall was not up to high standards. Lake Como is pricey, but I guess it’s worth paying for decent conditions. The most misleading experience in Italy.

The location and view (minus the TV antenna) were great. We used the kitchen for breakfast and dinner. Very clean and convenient.

Excellent location, right in the center of Varenna. They let us drop off our luggage before the official check‑in! The house had a strange smell (no ventilation), the bed was very old and uncomfortable.

Such a fabulous location, right in the middle of everything. The shared kitchen was a bit tricky because it was next to our bedroom, mainly due to other guests leaving it messy and banging cupboards late at night.

Veldig nær sjøen og restauranter. God kontakt med utleier, rask respons. Rommet var ikke rengjort ved ankomst. Det er noen mangler, eks ødelagt håndkleholder og løs list under servant på bad. Spindelvev i tak. Rommet var mindre enn det ser ut på bildene. Delt terrasse var litt rotete, bør ryddes opp der og gjøres litt hyggeligere
