“Reviw of Hisar Hotel , Topkapi”
I recently stayed at Hisar Hotel in Topkapi, Istanbul, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. The hotel advertises free parking, but this was misleading — every night I had to struggle to find a space and move my car several times to avoid fines. Inside the room, things were just as frustrating: no fridge, no wardrobe, no water kettle, no complimentary water or coffee, and even the coffee they did offer was very poor. Requesting an iron was a hassle despite confirming it before my stay. The breakfast was extremely basic, and on many days the boiled eggs and cheese were spoiled and not suitable to eat. One lady was also unhelpful and unfriendly, constantly refusing basic things, which made the stay uncomfortable to the point that I preferred leaving the hotel late at night just to avoid being there. The only positive part of my stay was Yousuf, the receptionist who genuinely tried to help. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and I would not recommend Hisar Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.
