The hosts are incredibly helpful and friendly, and breakfast is a hit; chatting with Pecco is both informative and entertaining. Gail is a real gem who makes you feel at home. The house is old and noisy, especially when someone above you is boring; the neighbors downstairs started talking early in the morning, which was a bit rough for us.

The owners are very friendly and personable, and they cook a delicious breakfast. They let us use their kayak, and we had a lovely time paddling and swimming around Highland Lake. Pecco even drove us personally to an out‑of‑the‑way trailhead. The inn itself is charming and comfortable, and I would definitely recommend it for a quiet weekend in nature away from the big crowds at Winnepesauke.

The place is a small, high‑quality pond, located near Highland Lake and surrounded by forest, offering a quiet atmosphere with lake‑side activities nearby. The pond is uniquely designed, adding character and uniqueness; it’s clean, the beds are comfortable, and breakfast is exceptional. We stayed for five nights and enjoyed every moment. Beyond the perfect setting, our experience was enriched by meeting the special people who run the place—Pecco and Gail—who are kind, conversational, and wonderful hosts who welcomed us warmly. We hope to stay there again.

The owners are friendly, engaging, and attentive to European‑level detail and service. The small town location is within an extremely short walking distance to Highland Lake. Breakfasts are delightful, with eggs made to order, French butter with bread products, homemade granola, high‑end yogurt, and bottomless coffee. An EV charger is available! Nothing else—everything met our needs perfectly.

This is a family‑owned inn with comfortable lodging and outstanding cleanliness. The couple who owns the place are really nice and great to talk with. Breakfast is outstanding and made to order. The bed in the room is very comfortable, and the private bath is always super clean. I stay here once a year when I have my kayak race in a nearby town. There's nothing to dislike!
