I landed in a corner spot by the wall, which matched my taste perfectly. The next day, a group of students arrived; they were energetic, but they ignored the atmosphere, shouting and causing trouble wherever they went. Even the lead teacher didn’t intervene. While I was on the second floor of the lobby using my computer, the kids’ antics nearly pushed me over the edge. I hope the staff will warn future groups to keep their noise down before explaining the premises. Thank you.

The host incorrectly uses Simplified Chinese instead of the appropriate Traditional Chinese used in Taiwan, showing a lack of awareness and respect for Taiwanese culture and misleading travelers. The accommodation heavily and unabashedly uses Chinese terms and Simplified characters such as “卫生巾”, “M巾”, etc., replacing Taiwanese words. Please write “衛生棉”.

The location is near Lin Department Store and easy to find. The building itself isn’t modern; it feels like an old house that’s been converted, which is interesting. As a backpacker’s hostel, there are no issues. Those who expect a Japanese‑standard level of cleanliness might find it challenging.

Great, social hostel. If you enjoy it, you can meet a lot of people and there were many folks in the lobby in the evenings.
