Perched on a hilltop, Hotel Pinella Campi commands sweeping Lake Garda vistas and lies under ten minutes’ drive from Limone sul Garda’s shoreline. This 4‑star retreat offers an indoor and outdoor pool, a full wellness centre with sauna, hot tub and Turkish bath, plus a gym and twelve tennis courts with lessons. Rooms feature balconies overlooking lake or mountains, LCD satellite TV, and a sunrise breakfast buffet served on a sunny terrace.

The family/apartment hotel is very well maintained, with especially friendly staff and a bar team that serves great cocktails while always in a good mood. The hotel sits high on the mountain, offering a nice lake view, but that also makes the approach a bit challenging; by car it takes about 15‑20 minutes from the main road up the steep, partly narrow, unlit streets. Breakfast is adequate but a bit outdated, and the outdoor pool is not heated, so even in lovely September weather it’s too cold to use.

From the hotel’s terrace you get a breathtaking lake view, the staff are very friendly, the food is excellent, and the common areas are of good quality – definitely a four‑star‑worthy place. The indoor pool, however, needed warmer water, especially during the time I stayed.
