Even though it’s a guest house, I felt the hospitality of a hotel; breakfast was tasty and the shuttle bus to the station was a lifesaver on a rainy day. However, the bus from the station to the inn didn’t run because the train was delayed, so walking for 20 minutes in the rain was tough, and there weren’t many sights or activities at Yamagoto Onsen.

Yamagoto Onsen is lined with upscale ryokans, yet this guest house offered a low price with breakfast included, which was satisfying. The breakfast itself was delicious, and the staff were very courteous. The phone was hard to reach; I think the staff were busy with guests, so a prerecorded message like “We’re currently attending to guests, please call back later” would be helpful when they can’t answer right away.

¥5500有溫泉浴場十分划算 還有各種洗髮精護髮素可以選用 員工態度親切有禮 環境乾淨. 離車站很遠，不是開車的話要走20分鐘，較晚抵達時路上更是漆黑一片 晚上不提供餐點，附近餐廳較早關店，走去最近的便利商店要半小時，不過酒店有販賣杯麵和小食可以飽腹

“破格の宿泊料”

Considering the breakfast is included, the price is a steal. The breakfast was surprisingly good, though the dormitory rooms were a bit cramped.
