The location is great—right in the center, with the ferry, bus, and historic center within walking distance. However, the room shares a bathroom and kitchen, the furnishings are dated, somewhat indifferent, and poorly maintained; the shared kitchen and bathroom were very dirty and even quite disgusting in both areas. When we asked questions, the staff answered politely and competently, although it took a while.

The place itself was decent, but I kept getting messages about extra charges for a later checkout and struggled to find the right access code for the room; the hotel could really improve its overall condition.

The location was central, yet the building felt worn and old with a faint stale smell, there was no staff present—everything was self‑service—and the daily rate was far too high for what was offered.

It took an hour to locate the entrance, which was dark with no lighting so I had to use my phone’s light; I found a key box and tried the four‑digit code I had emailed, but it didn’t work—apparently it was rusted shut. I accidentally touched the handle, which lit up, entered the code again but the lock was jammed, searched for a phone number but found none on the email, the door, or on sona.fo, knocked on the door while windows were lit, yet no one answered; I spent about 2 hours in the rain and paid for nothing, ending up sleeping in my car that I happened to bring.
