The family at the property were super welcoming, and there was plenty of off‑road parking. I even had to change my plans last minute, standing in front of them with my “dog,” and they were incredibly accommodating. They couldn’t be more helpful. The only downside was that everything was so perfect it made it hard to find a flaw. I went for the Triathlon and the guest house was just about 200 yards from the start line!

The rooms were small but very comfortable, and the hosts were amazing, offering great suggestions on where to eat and what to do. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of variety and abundance—it set the day right. The lake view from our window was stunning and there was plenty of parking. I would definitely stay here again. Nothing was lacking; everything was great.

We stayed for a sailing event and it could not have been better. The nearby walks were nice and getting to the A roads was easy. The furniture and rooms feel a bit tired, though everything was very clean; a little cosmetic touch‑up would help.

The hosts were nice and the breakfast was great. In the roof room it was too hot, the shower was mediocre, and at times no water came out.

Breakfast and location were excellent, but the house feels a little tired. The front was unkept, and there were spiders and webs in the corners of the room.
