The bartender was excellent.
“Nettes Personal, aber kein 4 Sterne Hotel”
The staff were always friendly and tried to accommodate our requests as best they could. We booked a room for five, but apart from the bed and towels, everything in the room was only set up for two people. When we asked, we finally received extra glasses, blankets, and chairs for the balcony. The buffet was disappointing; it was clear the food was cooked in bulk. The water had a strong aftertaste that made it unpalatable, and instead of a regular orange juice at breakfast, we only found sugary drinks. The fruit was often rotten, and cutlery, glasses, and plates were frequently dirty.
“It was fair”
The rooms were very comfortable, and lunch and dinner were extraordinary. The pool bars, snacks, and drinks were terrible. The staff seemed unhappy and overworked because the hotel is super busy; all the sun beds and facilities were always too crowded. Most of the time there was a long queue at the bar areas.
The hotel sits in a remote spot right by the seaside, which I really appreciated.
The location, cleanliness, kids disco, and beach were all perfect. Everyone else was really nice and helpful, smiling. However, all the bar staff were rude—whether at the swimming‑pool bar or the main restaurant bar—making everyone feel unwanted. When I asked what Greek coffee was, the bar girl replied, “Why do you ask if you don’t know?” because I didn’t know, I asked. The pool bar girl was lazy, uncommunicative, and rolled her eyes when mistakes were made. The guy at that bar had hateful eyes, nobody smiled, and it felt uncomfortable to ask for a drink, expecting a bad attitude.
