“A fuir”

The breakfast was fine and the bed was comfortable, but the stay fell short of our expectations. After heavy rain on Saturday morning, we realized water was seeping into the accommodation; drops fell from the ceiling and puddles formed on the floor. Our host, Gigi, came to inspect the damage, but instead of understanding, she immediately told us that there were worse rooms than ours. She was unpleasant from the start of the storm, looking down on us. I was also wary because the host can access the lodging through a door and can enter whenever she wants. In our case, she entered in the afternoon while we were away and turned off the air conditioning and opened the veranda, even though I had clearly said I refused that. When we left, I wasn’t at ease, knowing she could come in at any moment. Additionally, the cleaning was lacking: there were spider webs on the ceiling, stains on the net, which is no longer white but yellowed. The toiletries (toothpaste, soap, slippers, bathrobes) and general equipment were outdated. Several advertised items, especially those mentioned, were simply not provided. Despite all these major inconveniences, we tried to have a peaceful weekend. The jacuzzi was pleasant, there were few neighbors, and the bed was comfortable.

“Super week-end relaxant !”

Gigi is a caring host who greets you with kindness and friendliness. The suite is perfect for a romantic weekend (private pool, jacuzzi, large bed, hammock, …), and the mountain décor is great! The breakfast is good and filling. The mas is very well located between Aigues-Mortes and the Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. Nothing was wrong, everything was perfect!

The tranquility, serenity, spa, pool, and high‑quality bedding were great, as was the décor, the hanging net, and the welcome. The high table and high chair for meals were a downside, and the meat portion per person was a bit limited in the “grill de viande” package.
