The B&B was dazzling, impeccably clean and fragrant. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was five‑star, with a wide selection of local and artisanal pastries. The staff’s courtesy was extraordinary. The staircase to the room was inconvenient, especially with heavy luggage. A nearby church rings its bells every 15 minutes, so earplugs are a must.

Nothing positive. The group was split between two locations in a dreadful setting: a fairground on one side where sleeping before midnight was impossible, and a shabby alley on the other. The second house was clean after a tidy‑up, but the first had a dirty room, only a small sofa‑bed, and a very dangerous staircase for both floors. Breakfast at the pastry shop (car required) consisted of pastries and cakes, and there was a table in front of the toilet entrance.

The room matched the description and was very clean. Breakfast at the bar was excellent and the staff were very kind. The only flaw was that it’s just a few meters from a church that rings its bells all night every hour, and sometimes every quarter‑hour depending on the time. That meant I spent the night in the dark. It’s illegal in Italy, but apparently not everyone follows the law… It’s only recommended for those used to sleeping next to church bells.

We found the staff kind, helpful and clean. Breakfast was served at the owner’s bar. The only downside was the church nearby, whose bells started ringing very early; earplugs would make that issue easy to overcome.
