The room was decent, food was average, and overall the place was clean and spacious. I called ahead to confirm that my Deluxe Double Room with Balcony on the 6th floor was ready, and the staff confirmed this two hours before check‑in, knowing we were on our way. When we arrived, we were sent straight to a 2nd‑floor room with no explanation. Only after I asked did the staff say the confirmed room was no longer available and that we were being given a “Junior Suite” instead, presented as an upgrade with two balconies and extra sleeping space. The room was clearly not an upgrade: it had outdated furniture, a poor layout, and didn’t match the photos. One small room had a single bed, another had a double bed, and both balconies faced only the parking lot. For nearly NPR 9,000, the quality was extremely disappointing. Comparing the room to the listing photos confirmed it was completely different from what I had booked. When my partner asked if the hotel could give us the room we reserved or if we should leave, the staff finally stopped trying to justify it and started making calls. We were then moved to a different building and shown another room on the 3rd floor. While it was closer to what we had booked, it still did not fully match the advertised photos. The room had two single beds instead of the requested double bed, and the advertised mountain‑view features were missing. Only after further discussion did the staff agree to improve the bed arrangement. What disappointed me most was the way the situation was handled. The hotel repeatedly confirmed my room before arrival, then attempted to place us in a much inferior room while presenting it as an upgrade.
