The place was spotless and the staff were welcoming, but the pool stayed shut for six days of my stay, which made me think I'd rather have stayed elsewhere; on arrival I was hit with an extra fee for my dog, something I thought was already included in the booking.

The hotel was in a central spot for my trip, but I booked a double bed and received a message saying it was “subject to availability” and then the room never had one; the room was also grubby (see photos) and a cleaner knocked on our door at 8:30 to check if anyone was inside because their cleaning schedule system was down, ruining our planned late‑night rest after a long drive.
