“Amazing place and I would absolutely stay there again”

The lobby felt like a museum, packed with antiques, instruments, and vehicles—absolutely awesome. The staff were exceptional, making me feel comfortable and addressing any needs instantly. I would have preferred mattresses instead of a boxspring with a pad; that small change would have made a huge difference in comfort.

The location is excellent, away from traffic and noisy places; the place is quiet and features a wonderful reception and helpful staff who serve Asian and Arabic cuisine. It’s a short 3‑minute walk to the lake and close to the Indian and Turkish restaurants in Istanbul. The internet is slow and the price is somewhat high.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was old, dark, stuffy, and had a strong musty smell from the moment I walked in. It felt like it hadn’t been properly renovated or maintained for a long time. I’m quite sensitive to my surroundings, and throughout my stay I felt uneasy and uncomfortable, making it almost impossible to get a good night’s sleep. This is, of course, my personal experience, and others may feel differently. Considering the price, I don’t think the quality was worth the cost. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone. I sincerely hope the hotel improves its facilities, cleanliness, and room conditions in the future, because my overall experience was extremely disappointing.
