A lovely hotel in a quiet spot, just a 15‑minute walk to the gorgeous historic centre. The breakfast terrace was generous and the food plentiful, but the downside was that our room was on the ground floor, so we had no view.

The room and its balcony were great, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was good. The only issue was the missing TV – the coaxial wall socket was broken.

The room was spacious and spotless, and breakfast was tasty. The only drawback was the balcony view – it looked out over the back of other buildings and a bit of waste ground, and the balconies weren’t private because only iron fencing separated them. I knew the hotel had no pool, and we didn’t need one since we’d be heading to the beautiful Sardinian beaches, but the best beach was about 5 km away and the hotel offered a shuttle for 2 euros per person each way. Overall the hotel was nice, but I wish we’d chosen a place with a pool.

The reception staff were exceptionally welcoming, always smiling and ready to answer every request and give useful restaurant tips – truly top service. The bathrooms, especially the showers, could use a renovation, and the balconies of the rooms lack privacy.

At first glance the hotel looks plain, but it turned out to be a top‑class property with excellent facilities, superb breakfast, very modern furnishings, and a very pleasant atmosphere – highly recommended.
