The room was fine and the beds turned out more comfortable than I had expected from the first test; the breakfast selection was plenty and of very good quality. In the “Wiazhaus” the setting was cozy and the Slovakian manager was very friendly. It’s nice that the bathroom and toilet are separate, but the toilet lacks ventilation and, most importantly, a sink (with towel and mirror would be nice). The balcony could use some improvements: no seat cushions, no table even though there’s space, and no weather cover, so it’s unusable when it rains.

The bed quality was terrible; the slatted frame was missing slats, making comfortable lying and sleeping almost impossible.

The owner was very helpful, the breakfast buffet was good, and the bike storage was spacious; the single room was small and had no air‑conditioning, but that wasn’t needed.

Breakfast was varied enough; the Hinterhaus ruin is nearby, and from there you can see the Danube far away and even the ship traffic—wonderful!
