We were due to arrive at 11:00 but check‑in wasn’t until 15:00, and on Friday 28 August the temperature hit 40 °C with a weather alert, so I called the hotel the day before to see if we could get in about three hours early and use the bar and pool. They said we could, but only for an extra €80 for two adults and a child, and they even offered a holding room, which I’ve never seen done at other places in similar situations. In our room I immediately spotted a noticeable stain on the floor and orange pebbles near my son’s sofa‑bed, and after three days they were still there. For the price I think my son deserved a proper bed, not a sofa‑bed. Breakfast was nothing special – just one type of yoghurt and brioche with “tuppo” (a typical granita topping) even though they didn’t serve granita. The pool towels were small, faded and worn. Overall it was a bit disappointing and I wouldn’t return.
“Weekend Sampieri (RG)”
The property was elegant and very quiet, with a well‑maintained garden. Breakfast was plentiful. The pool may not have been suitable for the expected number of guests, and the parking lot was too small and unlit.
“Pietra d'acqua”
The facility is elegant and surrounded by lush greenery, making it ideal for a relaxing stay. The room was spacious and well-equipped with all the comforts you’d expect. There’s a spa on site that also offers massage services for personal wellbeing. Nothing to complain about.
“Purtroppo il prezzo non vale il soggiorno”
The room had no windows, and I was told that if I wanted a “better” option I’d have to specify it (the pictures didn’t show that it was windowless). The pool towels were rusty, and the loungers by the pool were insufficient for all guests, so we had to lie on the grass with a view of the trash. The bar service was extremely slow—other guests complained about 30‑40 minute waits for a toast.
“Da provare e tornare per rilassarsi”
The breakfast was excellent, the atmosphere very calm and relaxing, and the staff were friendly and courteous. I would suggest upgrading the pillow comfort, and the only thing that felt a little out of place for a nature resort was finding a few little “animals” like a gecko and a centipede in the room, though they didn’t cause any trouble and the cleanliness was superb.
