The establishment was very classy, but there was no elevator; at 80 years old we couldn’t lift our luggage to the second floor, though two people helped us.

A nice room with a spacious bathroom, and the ability to make coffee and tea right there. The beds were comfortable, and the linens and towels were high quality. The restaurant food was good, and breakfast was truly delicious with friendly service; eggs were cooked just how we wanted. The selection wasn’t huge, but everything tasted great and was well made. When we arrived, we couldn’t buy drinks because they were preparing dinner, which surprised us since other guests in the courtyard were already sipping bar drinks. We had booked a table at Winstub, the cheaper restaurant, but ended up in the courtyard and ate from the pricier spot. The food was tasty but cost more than we’d planned. The staff were friendly, though a few were a bit rushed, which felt stressful. The meal took a long time, perhaps because they had forgotten about us in the rush.
