The room was quiet and nicely located behind the pub, making it a great spot for checking out Cambridge. The only issue was that the room was very hot with the floor heating on overnight.

The people were very friendly and accommodating; we also had dinner at the pub, which tasted great; the location was deliberately a bit out of the way and very quiet.

The room was spacious, clean, and very modern, and the bed was very comfortable. The first time I used the shower, right after arriving, it flooded the room and soaked the bedroom carpet. I’m pretty sure I booked a room that included breakfast, but when I settled the bill I was told breakfast was not included and that I had to pay for it.

Having stayed here before, it looks like the place has had a makeover, especially the bathrooms. The bed is very comfortable and the pub food is nice. The tea/coffee machine doesn’t heat water enough for tea, so a kettle would be better. The in‑room fridge and basket tray are in the way and extremely expensive; if you’re desperate for snacks, there’s a Tesco Express across the road!
