I’ve stayed here before and it’s convenient for the Eurostar, plus the staff are excellent. I love that you can get a balcony room overlooking the Gare du Nord both times. Nothing is wrong; everything is great.

The staff are excellent, with both the front desk guy and the café guy being extraordinary. However, the value for money and services don’t match the nightly rate; the room is very small, there’s no water bottle or minibar, and in Paris you either pay 300€ or get a mixed experience. The surroundings are only good because of the train station, with no notable restaurants or cafés nearby, and the area isn’t safe for walking back at night.
