The room was very spacious and stylishly furnished, and I especially enjoyed the sunroom and the close distance to the pub and the gorgeous countryside. Compared to the rest of the property, the bathroom felt tiny; the shower was fine, but the small hand basin made brushing teeth difficult.

The property was lovely, well‑equipped, and comfortable. The location was excellent, and the local pub served tasty food with friendly staff.

The place was a charming, quirky, well‑furnished spot with a great kitchen. The pub across the road was quiet, served a good pint, and had lovely food. The shower room was a bit small but nicely equipped.

The holiday house was lovely in a beautiful building, with a great spot for exploring. Most of the house stayed clean; the bathroom was small but well‑designed, and the lounge was comfy with a well‑equipped kitchen. The pub opposite offered good food. The duvet filling was heavy and unsuitable for summer, the conservatory was dusty and needed cleaning, and the outside space was smaller than listed, especially the rear yard and the tiny front area; more comfortable seating at the front would have helped make better use of the weather.

The location in Darsham is very good, right opposite a quiet, friendly pub that serves good food. It’s only a few minutes’ drive to Westleton, Minsmere, and Dunwich Beach. A minor issue is that the Basils Bolthole location on Apple Maps is incorrect as of 18 July 2026, so you need to confirm the correct address and postcode.
