“Personal entspricht weder der Anlage noch den Sternen.”
The room was very sweet. Breakfast was plentiful and the Asian dishes were very good. The cleaning staff did a great job and deserves praise. The kids’ pool area is small but great, and it’s nice that there are swim rings, paddleboards, and a stand‑up paddle for direct use. The kiddie slides and playground were also great for our children. Once they unpacked the foam machine, which was a highlight for the kids. The gym was solidly equipped, the indoor kids’ playground with supervision was small but good. The facility itself was nice and well maintained. First impression of the hotel: they say you should pay in advance (no problem) and you chat with them briefly, response times under an hour. A few days later you ask about an airport shuttle (including three follow‑ups) and you get a reply four days later, by which time you’re already there. Then you arrive and the staff have absolutely no enthusiasm for their work or for us. They’re very sluggish, unmotivated, and annoyed (we’ve never had this in China in the last three weeks except at this hotel). We’re talking about all the staff in the lobby. When we asked for a shuttle for the return flight we got outrageous prices and constantly changing information: “we don’t offer that (but it’s listed), 260 CNY, suddenly 300 CNY, suddenly 400 CNY.” Then a day before departure one of the lobby staff (the only one who tried) contacted us and, after we said the shuttle prices were a ripoff, suddenly 180 CNY – which we accepted because it was a bit like Didi prices (for our group and luggage size). All hotel staff speak Russian and we were only spoken to in Russian; their translation devices are set that way. The room itself was sweet, though quite old compared to the rest of China we visited. Value for money is accordingly too expensive. Western sweet breakfast items like waffles or pancakes were not enjoyable. Unfortunately the overall tone in the whole hotel was that you constantly feel ripped off, so we didn’t eat dinner there or use any other services – luckily Meituan works great. The rooms are very ring‑quiet, but we were lucky to have Russian family neighbors instead of loud Chinese ones, so it didn’t bother us much. Apparently there are different or no quiet times for certain people.
