Just five minutes’ walk from Negombo Beach, Gomez Place features stylish, air‑conditioned rooms with private patios, warm lighting, sofa seating, TV, work desk and en‑suite showers. Guests enjoy an outdoor pool, garden strolls, on‑site body massages, free parking, and a tour desk offering car rentals and ticketing. It lies 750 m from the railway station, 900 m from the bus stand, and a 20‑minute drive from Bandaranaike International Airport.

In terms of space, this was one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka! The room was beautifully decorated, well‑equipped, and the garden area was outstanding. Breakfast was also great! The only downside was the swimming pool. We chose this place specifically so we could relax by the pool on our last afternoon in Sri Lanka before leaving, but upon arrival, we found out it was closed for tile repairs. While we completely understand that ongoing maintenance is necessary, it would have been helpful to be informed in advance since the pool was a major deciding factor for us.

Gomez Place was the perfect first night—an oasis that welcomed us to Sri Lanka, and the fresh breakfast on the first morning was beautifully prepared. The staff were kind and friendly, and they even arranged a driver for us to our next destination, which was much appreciated.
