I agree with the positive reviews from previous guests. The “Athe Schreinerei” is a meticulously and lovingly renovated house with a small back‑seat area where I felt very comfortable. Even though I was the only guest, the kind host provided a generous breakfast buffet. In a side room there was a good selection of drinks at moderate prices, so I could end the evening with a glass of wine. Parking is indeed an issue: you can either accept the offer to reserve a spot on the nearby parking lot for a fee of about 13 Euro in advance, or look for a free spot on a side street and then walk a bit. It’s an ideal stay for cyclists and hikers along the Rhine or for city visitors who want quiet in the evenings.
