“Lovely and hospitable family that I’d recommend staying with!”

I stayed in a lovely family-run place with excellent food and very comfortable rooms, but the private bathroom turned out to be shared with two other bookings, which was a bit disappointing.

I spent one night with Asylbek and his family and booked a horse trek through them. They were very accommodating, friendly, and handled all the arrangements. Our guide was pleasant and took us to exceptional, off‑the‑beaten‑path spots. The accommodation was clean and nice, though there was a bit of noise from the thermal pump running in the room, which didn’t bother my partner or me much. The food was amazing and plentiful, and they kindly let us park our car in their garden while we were on the trek. I highly recommend staying with them and booking a trek through them.

“Great recommendation”

We booked Asylbek’s Guesthouse mainly to arrange a riding tour to Song Kul lake with him, and it turned out perfect, so we definitely recommend it. We stayed one night in the yurt on his property and met another group of guests who were staying in the guesthouse at dinner. We were supposed to be two groups—one with Asylbek, one with his father and sister—but we decided to go together the next day and had the best 3‑day trip with him. Two things to note: the bathroom is shared at the guesthouse, and if you’re tall, make sure the stir‑ups are long enough when you start riding—your butt will thank you 😄

The host and hostess were extremely friendly and helpful, and we were warmly welcomed, which made us feel at home. The food was good, and they thought of many details where needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for everything!
