“Walla Walla was lovely we are excited to go back.”
The lobby welcomed us with a beautiful vibe, and on our first night they offered a complimentary wine tasting that was very nice. The Marc restaurant has been renovated, looks stunning, and the staff were all outstanding! The location is perfect. However, our room was in the new addition on the side of the building, not in the historic tower, and the décor was very dark and moody; a bit of light would have brightened it up.
The spot is perfect for exploring Walla Walla’s wine scene, and the lobby has a lot of charm with its restored look. Our room, in the newer block and overlooking the back car park, was noticeably larger than the others in our group and stayed in good shape and spotless. We dined at the on‑site restaurant for both dinner and breakfast, and the menus were fantastic; the server—though I can’t recall her name—offered stellar wine picks and the food was great. The rooms are very reasonably priced, so we’d definitely book again next time we’re in the area. The only downside was that, given the room’s size, the bathroom felt quite tight; it was fine for the two of us over three nights, but it might feel cramped for a family with kids.
“Great”
The location works well, the bar is solid, and the staff are friendly, making the overall experience enjoyable. The coffee machine was a bit confusing at first, but once I figured it out it was fine.
“Thoroughly enjoyed her stay at the Marcus Whitman hotel, and plan to come back.”
The historic hotel was gorgeous, and the furnishings were beautiful.
“House cleaning needs to step up their game”
I love it, but the house cleaning could be better. The coffee maker was dirty, still had leftover coffee, and the creamer was so old it looked gooey when it came out.
