I was disappointed to find bed bugs on the white sheets, and I didn’t want to dirty my sheets, so I avoided them; another one crawled onto my clothes and shook in the toilet bowl, which was very upsetting. I wanted to tell the receptionist, but there was none. The lady serving breakfast didn’t speak English. I found bed bugs in my bed and didn’t sleep at all.

The location is great, close to Alameda Park and the cathedral. The bathroom had a bad smell and was poorly insulated.

The place was right next to the cathedral, which was great. When we arrived, the walls still smelled damp and the floor was covered in plaster dust; they had tried to sand the walls down and even set up a humidifier to get rid of the odor, but it was impossible to sleep with that smell hanging around.

The location is close to the square but quiet.
