I stayed just one night to visit the castle and see Alex Hart at the playhouse, which was only a few yards away, so the central location worked well for everything.

“Great location and lovely room would definitely recommend”

The room was large, well appointed, and the bed was comfortable; daily replenishments of milk, biscuits, crisps, and pan au chocolate were nice touches, and the central Alnwick location was great; Nicola was lovely and offered excellent food and drink recommendations, with no complaints.

“Above and beyond expectations”

Great central location near Barter Books and the shops/restaurants/coffee shops. Very easy check-in. Nicole was there in person to welcome me and was extremely helpful. Very comfy bed with lovely soft white linen, which meant I slept so well. The room had a robe, slippers, a bottle of fresh milk and water in a little fridge, plenty of teabags (some more expensive hotels can be stingy!) and lovely snacks provided. I would 100% stay here again. Nothing

“Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!”

The room was very nice, large, tastefully furnished, and the bathroom was spacious with a great shower; a private parking spot was available; the central location meant only a few minutes on foot to shops, pubs, restaurants, Alnwick Castle, and Alnwick Gardens, though the street-facing room had traffic at night but the windows were well sound‑proofed; not having breakfast was fine because we had a wonderful breakfast at Barter Books across the street in a great atmosphere; everything was satisfactory and we were very happy.

“Would have liked to stay longer but they were fully booked”

Everything was perfect – the best room I’ve stayed in for quite a while, and I liked everything.
