The staff were lovely, the food and drink tasty, the restaurant view stellar; the beds were comfy and the shower good. It’s well located to ferry terminals. Some maintenance is needed: the place feels overall slightly tired, our door squeaked loudly and had to be slammed shut, houseflies were in our room, there was a slight concern about buffet hygiene, and a bush had grown to block our room’s advertised view of Mont Saint Michel.

De vrouwen waren vriendelijk die er werken. Zeer vuile kamer en onverzorgde accommodatie, verwaarloosde omgeving van de tuin. Kapotte parasols, verwilderde tuin, vuile badkamer, behang hangt los, tapijt is zeer vuil en onverzorgd

The property is quite beautiful overall and has a lot of charm, and the surrounding greenery plus the view of Mont Saint Michel are truly enchanting, but the room itself felt very dated and didn’t match the pleasantness of the common areas.

The hotel has a great atmosphere and the best location—at night you can watch sunsets over Mont Saint Michel. The rooms are cozy, fully equipped, and the terrace at the entrance is a fantastic perk. The staff are friendly and responsive, and the restaurant food is beyond praise! We’d gladly return.
