Situated in Forster in the New South Wales Region, 30 km from Taree, Lakes and Ocean Hotel Forster boasts a terrace and views of the lake. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The Lake View Queen and Queen Room have a refurbished en suite bathroom. The Budget Queen Rooms offer a queen size bed and easy access to shared bathroom facilities. The hotel boasts 180 degree views stretching along Wallis Lake where you can take in the beautiful sunsets each evening.

The location was good. The showers were only cold to lukewarm on both nights, the room was very small, and the usual pub noise was present but the price was low; we could have stayed at a motel for less without the extra pub noise. We had to turn sideways to brush past each other in the room.

The hotel was close to the water and the room was clean. Some noise from the pub below could be heard.

The location was lovely, right across from the lake, and we could watch a spectacular sunset from our own deck outside the room. We couldn’t use the air‑conditioning because it was leaking, the curtains were mouldy, and there was a huge cockroach in the room—a funny little thing.

The central location is my favourite thing about this accommodation. Nothing else.
