The service and cleanliness were flawless, the pool was very pleasant and tidy, and breakfast was wonderful. The downside was the room’s proximity to a neighboring property where animals are kept.

The location is great, right in front of Morro da Baleia and literally on the road, making car access easy. The price matches the lodge’s facilities, and breakfast is excellent. The pool closes at 20:00. The only note: it’s surrounded by natural vegetation, so insects and ants are plentiful—bring repellent, haha.

I liked the strategic spot between Alto Paraíso and Vila São Jorge, close to Jardim de Maittrea and next to Restaurante do Waldomiro. The woman who welcomed us, Aniete, was sweet, and the other staff member I can’t remember her name—both were discreet and professional. The room was always clean. Breakfast was a treat in a nice area beside the heated pool with a great view of Morro da Baleia, and the sunrise and birdsong were lovely. I didn’t enjoy the room lighting; a brighter light would help with makeup or finding things at night. The shower, though great, sprayed water onto my head when I didn’t want my hair wet. I also felt uneasy opening the gate at night when we arrived.

Everything was spotless and organized, and the service was a perfect 10. The only drawback was the service and breakfast.
