The tranquility, peace, cozy cabin, air‑conditioning, hot water, sunset, and the excellent service from the owner who spent time when asked were all wonderful. The front door lock was broken, the water purifier was faulty, and they could add a sink trap in the kitchen to stop the bad smell from coming back.
“Nice Views, but Not Family‑Friendly”
Urubici always gives those gorgeous views, and the cabin feels cozy for a couple. But it’s really only meant for two – we brought our 5‑year‑old and the space was cramped, and the futon for her was tiny and sorely uncomfortable. The road up is a steep, narrow gravel stretch that a 4x4 handled fine, but a regular car would struggle, and getting out was a hassle.
“Treehouse‑Like Comfort in a Modern Chalet”
This place is a gem – a bit out of town from Urubici but still close enough, the condo is sleek and the chalet itself is stunning. The heated floor, indirect lighting, and huge tub make it super cozy, and the glass doors feel like a treehouse among the araucárias. The host was lovely and helpful, so I’ll definitely come back.
